The winning strategy in 2026: claim the heat pump, geothermal or heat storage aid through Hydro-Québec’s LogisVert, and fund insulation, air sealing, doors and windows through Rénoclimat. For attic insulation with air sealing only, LogisVert also offers $1,500. Never claim the same work twice.

    The right order

    1. Insulate first: a tighter house needs a smaller, cheaper heat pump.
    2. Choose an eligible heat pump, sized after insulation.
    3. Keep separate invoices by type of work.
    4. File each claim within each program’s deadline.
